Background

Welcome to WorldWideWimmer.com.  My name is Roger Wimmer, from Denver, Colorado, USA.  The idea for this website occurred to me when I taught an Introduction to Mass Media class at the University of Colorado-Boulder in Fall, 2005.  For a discussion of advertising, I decided to find logos that contained the Wimmer name to use as examples, and  I found nearly 200 on the Internet.  I was amazed at the variety of activities Wimmers around the world are involved in, and that led to the idea of creating this website.  To my knowledge, this is the only website that focuses on the Wimmer name.
